Why Leeds? A Top UK University Welcomes Harvest Academy Malaysia
Study opportunities at the University of Leeds.
We are proud to share that representatives from Harvest Academy Malaysia were recently invited to attend a conference of the prestigious University of Leeds, one of the UK's top universities and a distinguished member of the Russell Group — the UK's equivalent to the Ivy League in the United States.
During the visit, our staff had the opportunity to explore Leeds' academic offerings, campus environment, and the International Foundation Year (IFY) programme, which serves as a stepping stone to over 150 undergraduate degrees in fields such as:
- Arts and Social Sciences
- Business
- Design
- Engineering
- Healthcare Science
One standout feature of studying at Leeds is the guaranteed accommodation for international students throughout their studies. This not only eases logistical concerns for families but also provides a greater sense of security and comfort for students as they transition to university life abroad.
Leeds itself is a dynamic, student-friendly city, named the Best Place to Live in the UK (2024) by The Times and Sunday Times. With its blend of cultural vibrancy and academic excellence, it offers an ideal environment for learning and personal growth.
For families who are interested in learning more about this opportunity, the University of Leeds is considering hosting an information session in Perlis, depending on the level of interest. Parents are encouraged to contact Harvest Academy to express their interest and receive further updates.
